Ptuj is a smal city but has everithyng: schools (primary, secondary and high school), hosptal, theathre, library, movi, variety of sports, spa etc. Ptuj is a nice place for families with children as well as for old people. Ptuj is sorounded with picuresk landscape, including famous vineyards

What is the student lifestyle like in Ptuj?

Ptuj is not a univercity city. most students study in nearest bigger town Maribor or in Ljubljana. in Ptuj we have two special study programs kombining technics and nature.

it is easy to find flat or house to by, but quite difficult to rent a room

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

our food is good and healthy, lots of vegetables including lots of potatoes. my favourite food is vegetable soup.

What places would you recommend visiting in Ptuj?

in Ptuj it is necessary to visit old castle with fabulus furniture, old instruments and arms. walk threw old city is very nice, then there are galeries, library, very old and famous vine cellar, spa ...

to eat out is not expensive, except some spots. sorry, I dont have favourite spot, depends what kind of food I want.

a few spots are open very late. I can not tell more, sorry.
