What is it like to live in Oslo? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is very nice to live in Oslo. I feel safe almost everywhere I go. So I would really recommand this city if you would like to study in Norway. The city is full of pretty buildings and the nature here is amazing!

What is the student lifestyle like in Oslo?

We do have many different student housing all over the city, so there will be no problem to get places to rent. There are also being hosting students parties every Thursday, so that the students can study during the week but also get the opportunity to party.

How much does it cost to live in Oslo?

Some places are more expensive to live than other places. If you stay at the east of the city, there will be cheaper than if you live at the west end! It's almost just as expensive as rest of Scandinavia.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Oslo? Is there any advice you can give?

I don´t know so much about that, but I do not think that it is so difficult.

What is the food like? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

The food is very good! You can choose between all the food you like. The service is also very good. I would recommend Brunello (an Italian restaurant), Fridays, Olivia, Peppes Pizza.

What places would you recommend visiting in Oslo?

If you are visiting Oslo I would recommend you to visit Aker Brygge, The Opera, Karl Johan, The castle, Wiegelands park/ Frogner park, the museum of Monk, Holmenkollen.

Is the nightlife good in Oslo? Where is good to go?

The nightlife is okay, but very expensive.

What advice would you give future students heading to Oslo?

Use your savings well and do not go alone in the centrum streets at night.
