I'm Svenja from Nuremberg/Germany and I will study chemistry in Nottingham. Now im in third semester and the term one in Nottingham will be my fifth semester.

Maybe i find another chemistry student here =)

If you are looking for accommodation in Nottingham, i recommend you to stay in the Nottingham City Centre because there are nothing to do around the Nottingham University and students think it is better to stay close by but they go to City Centre, at least 5 times a weeks! Plus in those sharing houses you still have to pay Internet and bills! You don't pay in private student accommodation!

Staying at the City Centre isa cheap as staying near the Nottingham University and there are more options to shop for food, banks and more things to do. The cost of the bus from Nottingham City Centre and Nottingham University is £1.00 if you have Student Mango deal. It is a card that you pay once only, it is just to prove that you are student.

Please remeber, staying around the Nottingham University is great but you will feel bored after few weeks because there are nothing to do there.....basically just study...
