What is it like to live in Milan? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Milan is not like living in Rome, Florence or Naples. But if u know, can see characteristic places and stay excited. It is the economic and financial capital of Italy.
And definitely the place in Italy in which he speaks more English.
The most beautifull place are: Piazza del Duomo, Castello Sforzesco, Navigli e le vie del centro.

What is the student lifestyle like in Milan?

Milano is quite expensive for the students. But with a lots of University. Milan is a city for young people i think.

How much does it cost to live in Milan?

Dipends in which part of the city, the tipe ofaccomodations... but is quite expensive

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Milan? Is there any advice you can give?

Some university have housing for students, in the city it's easy find accomodation, the problem (in italy in general) is that you have to ask a correct contact of lease.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Tipical dishes in Milano are: Risotto alla milanese, cotoletta, casoula con polenta, but you can find all the tipical italian dish.
It's very tipical happy hour in Milano (Aperitivo) in Navigli zone.

What places would you recommend visiting in Milan?

Navigli (via delle lavandaie), Castello Sforzesco, Duomo Place, Piazza Scala, via degli orefici, Piazza Mercanti, Via Torino, Galleria, Viale vittorio Emanuele, Via Montenapoleone,Via della Spiga, Corso BuoenosAires, Piazza Gau Alenti, Corso Como

Is it good to eat out in Milan? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes is good! My prefer is Maya in Via Ascanio Sforza for Aperitivo

Is the nightlife good in Milan? Where is good to go?

There are a lots of disco, discopub, bar, for all gens

What advice would you give future students heading to Milan?

Politecnico di Milano is the best Eng, Arch and Design University of Italy, also Bocconi is a good University.
Remember that in 2015 there is the EXPO MILANO 2015
