How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I am Phd Student of UNIMI, receiving 1000 E every month for 3 years.

What is the student lifestyle like in Milan?

Poeple in my uni take it very seriously (as they pay lot of money), they stay in school till late hours.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Milan to other students?

My personal experience is not so positive. As non-italian speaker I can attend only few lectures.

What is the food like?

Aperitivo is the best this in the world, especially bar Blender

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Milan?

yes, cost to agency is high (1 month rent)

How much does it cost to live in Milan?

If i would live alone it would be much more expensive. As I didnt want to live in room or dorm, i live in monolocale with my bf. It cost 650e a month plus electricity and gas is another 30e. For food we spend 200e for both per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are language courses by Uni, also by city or private. I tried by city which is for free but because of too much paper work i gave up.
