It's close from my country, it's easy to get here and it's a good point for travelling - Italy, Croatia, Bosna and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and so on.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship is for 1 semester, so almost 6 months. I received grant - 400 €.

What is the student lifestyle like in Maribor?

Good, the thing is student's coupon for the food. We can eat in so many different restaurants for a good price.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Maribor to other students?

Yes, I can recommend for sure.

What is the food like?

They haven't their special food, usually cook a food from Bosna and Hercegovina - čevapčiči, or from Serbia - Pleskavice, and so on. It is really good but heavy.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, there are, but I don't attend any courses of Slovene. Some words I understand, sometimes it is similar to my language.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Maribor?

Visit some good clubs - Fuego, Štuk, Kaos, Trust.
