It's Friday! - Let's go eating!

Fridays in Ljubljana are reserved to eat. From spring to late fall this is a place to be. Pogacarjev trg transforms into one big food market that invites you in with scent of freshly cooked food, colours and homely or international flavours. Many restaurants all over Slovenia present their menus in smaller and cheaper portions for you to try, taste and love it from the very first bite. With some sun and warmer temperatures the whole experience gets just better. It is a place to meet, share, care and socialize. People come here for more than just food, they seek the thrill of new scents and flavours, meet their friends and relaxed after a long week of work. Variety of dishes on this food market will not leave you empty handed, as I am sure everyone can find something delicious to taste. Raw cakes, burgers, thai food, fresh homemade pasta, many different types of meat and ways to prepare it, local beers and wines, homemade ice teas and so on.
