Depends on you how long you stay for school reasons. I get 500€ per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lille?

There are so many international students. Lots of them travel a lot, because Lille is near to London, Bruxelles, Amsterdam, Paris and from Bruxelles and Paris are really cheap flight tickets to Spain, so we travel. We do picnics, dinners, party together.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lille to other students?

I definitely recommend the city! And Uni is also cool. I go to Estice - international business school which is very open minded and I am so happy to have chosen this faculty and I also attend classes in FGES. Most of them are interesting.

If youre going to use AEU office to get accommodation, mind there will be no sheets, blankets, pillows, dishes in you room!

Lille is amazing and the people here are very nice. In winter its very windy, rainy and chilly, so take warm clothes.
