Liege is really a lively city where people are friendly and welcoming.

It's not a big city but you can find everything you need and there are always some events somewhere (music, art, parties... ).

What is the student lifestyle like in Liege?

During the day students go to Uni and spend time on the campus. At night, they like to hang out with friends around a beer in the square. The square is that famous place where you can find loads of pubs and bars arranged one next to the other. The atmosphere is really nice and festive there!

How much does it cost to live in Liege?

I think life is not too expensive here compare to big city. It's affordable. Student accommodation costs around 350 euro per month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Liege? Is there any advice you can give?

Liege is quite a student city so you can find easily something.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Fries, beer and chocolate, of course!

What places would you recommend visiting in Liege?

I recommend just to have a walk all around the city. There are a lot of hidden beautiful spots.

Is it good to eat out in Liege? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yeah, you can find a lot of different restaurants in the city (asian, french, italian, morrocan... ).

Is the nightlife good in Liege? Where is good to go?

The square, definitely! It's there that you gonna meet local young people.

What advice would you give future students heading to Liege?

Maybe to know a bit of french before to arrive. Oh! Bring an umbrella!
