What is it like to live in Klaipeda? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

You live like in big one community. Everybody is very friendly and polite especially young people. It is very simple city and You never get lost. here is very nice old town with cozy cafes and sea cost with beautiful beaches.

What is the student lifestyle like in Klaipeda?

There are a lot of places for Young people to go: bars, cafes, clubs, bowling, cinema theatre and others.

How much does it cost to live in Klaipeda?

There are cheap places for students. For example hostel KUBU offers special prices for students.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Klaipeda? Is there any advice you can give?

Sometimes it can be difficult. But if You ask directly, You can get better prices. You just have to ask for a discount and You can get it.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The cafes and bars usually offer European cuisine and some traditional Lithuanian meal, for example "Cepelinai".

What places would you recommend visiting in Klaipeda?

The old town, the port, the sea, the Kar kar park, the Sea museum and Dolphinarium.

Is it good to eat out in Klaipeda? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

There are a lot of good places to eat. Cili pizza, Desperado.

Is the nightlife good in Klaipeda? Where is good to go?

There are night bars and clubs in Klaipeda. The best is PORT by BarBar'a and Kurpiai.

What advice would you give future students heading to Klaipeda?

Just come, enjoy the city and the sea.
