Why did you choose to go to Jena, Germany?

I choose Jena because it is a German University town, and the second largest city in Thuringia. Jena is a centre of education and research. Furthermore, there are many institutes of the leading German research societies. The economy of this city is based on the high-technology industry and research, making Jena an innovation centre in Germany.

What is the student lifestyle like in Jena?

Fabulous, every student enjoy their-selves very well like in other cities. There are so many facilities are available for students so any one can enjoy a lot. Also lots of students come here from different countries, so it is chance to make healthy relationships with them and share our ideas so I would like to say that students lifestyle is decent here.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Jena to other students?

Jena city is good for students because it is a cheap city and second largest one in Thuringia so we can buy anything here. Specially, the weather is also good so we can sustain coldness easily and for those we like to come here from Asia and other countries. Both universities offer lots of programmes with practical knowledge so we can easily gain knowledge. Both universities have excellent placement and good faculties.

What is the food like?

Here they have every type of food available so I think there's no big issue about food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Jena?

No, Studentenwerk provides rooms for students, or you can even find a room by yourself with Jenawohnen.

How much does it cost to live in Jena?

It depends, but normally it is affordable to live in Jena. From my point of view, you need around 400 to 450 euro.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, in Friedrich Schiller University there are language courses available.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Jena from your city?

Absolutely, by train. There is also other transportation facilities but train is the best.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Jena?

Night life in Jena is fabulous so we can enjoy hanging ouy with our friends in the clubs and other places.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Jena in the future?

I would like to say: don't worry, come here, everything is good.
