hey guys!I've been accepted by izmir university of economics for the first semester (set-mar 2012-13) in the department of communication,but already i'm not aware of many things in izmir(as accommondation etc.).can anyone here give me some tips? :)

Hi everyone!

I live in Izmir and also I was erasmus in spain prev. year. So if you need any help just feel free to ask.If you will go to studying in Ege university or Yasar university, you should probably find a flat in Bornova and Alsancak..If you are in University of Economy, Balcova , Alsancak or Hatay would be the best.. Buca is very close to Dokuz Eylul university but I do not recommend to live in there so you can find a flat in hatay, ucyol..Those are would be the best choices in my opinion.. for more questions u can add me on facebook : Dilara Yuksel

I'm gonna study in Izmir too. I've been accepted by dokuz university in Izmir for the first semester 2012/2013. I don't wanna to live in dormitory. I'd like to rent a flat, who joins me? :). Also I'm interested in some tips about the city too. Can you give me some advices? Byee :)

Hey guys,

I am a student at Izmır University of Economics but living right by Dokuz Eylul University (Buca). So I can help you out find a place. There are a lot of places to rent in Buca, most of them low in price. Prices are higher near Izmır University of Economics but you can still get a good deal! Be aware of people who try to charge you a lot of money for rents! I have been an exchange student before so i just want to help. If interested skype: sahin.atalay

Hello, My friend and I are going to study at dokuz eylül university from september 2012 until january 2013 (first semester). We are looking for an appartment. It can't be too far away from our school but we also don't want it to be too far away from the city/parties. Any suggestions where we should look? (as we don't know anything about the city). First I ll write some information ab Izmir City, 4 milion people living in Izmir.. 

If u r coming to study at ;
Yasar Uni or Ege Uni u have to rent a flat in  Bornova , Alsancak , Karşıyaka

Izmır Economy Uni ; Balçova - Narlıdere - Üçyol - Alsancak

Dokuz Eylül Uni : -Buca - Alsancak

Shari Meirhaeghe if u dont wanna miss any parties u can rent a flat in "Alsancak" :)

Last 2 semester we had a lot of crazy parties and a lot of trip fun etc..

if someone needs help to rent a flat I ll help cos our erasmus friends ll leave end of the june :((( so I know a lot of flat for rent..
