What is it like to live in Istanbul? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I was born in Kadıköy, Istanbul. Also, i am studying at Dogus University. In idea of living Istanbul is bumpy because of ur habits. If u wanna live without noise or crowded, u should not prefer here. Because, Istanbul is cosmopolite and also has crowded places, especially touristic side. On the other hand, u will find different cultures and people together.

Taksim(everything :) ), Kadıköy(bars, pubs, cafes), Bebek(Clubs), Ortaköy(pubs and clubs). I prefer to hang out in Kadıköy at weekdays. Its athmosphere is interesting and friendly especially for a student.

I think every student should come and live in here at least 3 months. Foods, night life, historical buildings, and different cultures come together in Istanbul
