The Austrian big apple - Innsbruck (2)

Hello all!

If I get married and go for honeymoon, I will undoubtedly choose Innsbruck, my favourite city in Austria. Probably the best place in Europe. 10 points for the surrounding Alps, 10 points for the pleasant atmosphere in the city centre, 10 points for hospitality and 10 points to the old town and its charismatic beauty.

Innsbruck is similar to Graz in the meaning that it has lot of narrow alleys, charming old buildings, cobble stones, bazars, cafés which spread a true mediterranean flavour. A massive 'Enjoy life' philosophy, a typical treasure box for tourists, where all Your wrinckles become smooth, and You feel treated by all the good in the World. Looking up to the Alps will make You dumbfound, furthermore, the cobble stoned streets will let You fly into another dimension, time and space. The most important places to see are the City Tower, the Golden Rooftop, Innsbruck Dom and more at: http://www.planetware.com/tourist-attractions-/innsbruck-a-t-inns.htm

It's a bit scary how that the Sun goes down in just a few seconds. One moment You still see it, the other moment it's gone behind the mountains and darkness spreads over the land.

I'm not the type of the traveler who makes notes on the map about the places still left for visiting, and I don't enter in panique if I miss something. I'm more improvisative and spontaneous and just let myself go with the flow. I don't like the previously organized and planned trips, but I have to advise You something. Which is part of a 'to do list'. If You're walking in the Old town try out some Strudels. These are tasty bakery products made of a special dough. There is a wide range of strudel sorts: from spinach-ricotta strudel, to the chicken-curry and blackberry strudel, and so on...

All in all, the shops, restaurants, alleys, the bustle of the city will charm You and keep You addicted to the so-called Innsbruck-feeling.
