What is it like to live in Groningen? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's great to live in Groningen when you are a student. It is a typical "student city": there are lots of young people and parties. The city center is very cozy and small, as the rest of the city, but that's ideal for studying. If you have a bike you can get everywhere in the city within 30 minutes. There are many facilities for students, such as associations, sport facilities and the nightlife.

It's not like italian but it's good food. Mostly patatoes and meat and vegetables, very simple. We have a soup which is called "snert". It's very nice, it's made with sausage.
