Hello.
Im am going to study at the hoogeschool Gent (Faculty of Teacher training) from september to december 2012. I am wondering how I can find a good plce to live without having to arrive many weeks before the semester starts. I have heard that the only dorms availeble for us is at "Vesalius". There one will have to share kitchen, livingroom and bathrooms with 6 other people. I was therefor wondering if anybode had any tips for how I can find an alternative place to live.

I'm renting my room form september to january in Ghent, if you're interested!
It is in a very large house, situated only 2 min by foot from your faculty (my roommate also attends your faculty!). If you're interested don't hesitate to contact me!

Hi, I'm Carlos, 23yo, I'm going to study Business at the Hogeschool Gent only the first semester. I've been looking for student residences but the Vesalius is so far from the school and other interesting places in Ghent.
I'm interested in sharing flat with other students, so if anyone is looking for flatmates or wants to find 1 flat together... (I've lived 4 years in a shared flat, so no problems with cleanliness and all that)

Hi everybody!
I'm going to study in Italy next semester (september - January 2012) but it's also possible to stay until february. I'm born in Ghent (Belgium). And I have a house in Ghent. I'd like to find someone who wants to stay in my house. I'm studying history.
Let me tell about the house:
It's really the best you can get in Ghent. It's in "Sint-Annastraat" in the centrum. I have to walk 5 minutes to get to my faculty. (and it's close to all the other faculties aswell) The house has 4 big rooms (i'm staying with 3 friends). The bathroom, living room, kitchen, attic, basement... are shared. It's 290 euro monthly (which is really cheap in the centrum of Ghent).
And if you want, my friends will be very pleased to show you Ghent, give some information, ...
I really have to find someone who can take my place. So feel free the respond! ;-)

Hi all, I'm Filip and after I finish all the paperwork (hopefully :D), I'll be studying at Universiteit Gent for two semesters. I'd prefer to share an apartment with someone, rather than live alone or at college dormitories.
I'm very happy that I found this page, because so far It seems as the best way to get some accomodation and know new people. Oh and I speak english, little bit spanish and perhaps flemish, after i take a language course :D
