Why did you choose to go to Brussels, Belgium?

Basically My father had been working in Brussels when I was in high school in Korea. So, naturally he suggested to me to study abroad, in Belgium. I decided to do so and now I'm in Belgium, enjoying this life pretty much.

What is the student lifestyle like in Brussels?

Comparing to my country which is Korea, here students mostly look active either in a class room or outside. When it comes to studying, they try to figure out what they want to know by questioning. This makes classes enthusiastic and academic. On the other hand, in free time, they have parties quite often or some prefer to participate in academic conferences held in Brussels or go to museums.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Brussels to other students?

I would like to recommend Brussels. Among universities in Brussels, I would like to say Vesalius College Brussels is recommendable university. This school consists of only 3 majors: International affairs, Communication and Business. This doesn't mean that it is not a good school. This means this school tries to concentrate on those fields of majors and this makes students stay focus and intensive.

Mostly importantly, there are not a lot of students in the school so that it provides you with cozy and unconstrained atmosphere.

What is the food like?

It is similar like French foods. The thing is, here is the origin of french-fries. But be careful, if you say French-fries in Belgium, Belgians may get angry by that. Due to the fact that here is the origin of french-fries, Belgians say that it is 'frites. '

How much does it cost to live in Brussels?

Mostly students use 'share-house. ' This is like you have your own room in a house or an apartment and you share kitchen and bathrooms with other people. This kind of accommodation is between 300~500€ depending on size of room, charges ( Water, Gas, electricity, internet, etc), and so on.
