Not hard to find accommodation. Near the university, there are a lot of rooms 'a louer' = for rent.

Most of the courses are conducted in French. However, there are also some classes conducted in English for international students.

As for the language courses, it depends on the university. In my case, we learn language at the language center.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Brussels from your city?

Within Brussels, you can just go anywhere by bus or tram or metro.

To another city, most convenient is by train, since it does not cost as much, especially there are some promotions for students or for weekends.

Also driving by car for 2-3 hours, you can reach cities in Netherland, France or Germany.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Brussels?

Bars are open everywhere. The most popular is Delirium, at the tourist center. However, I wouldn't recommend you to go there on weekend, since it will be very crowded.

Personally, there are a lot of good bars/cafe here.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Brussels?

To try waffles, you can go to Belgaufra or Waffle Factory or Gaufre du Bruxelles.

To try frites, almost everywhere. So far, the one that I think is delicious is at a small stalls near Bourse.
