What is it like to live in Brno? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is a quite city full of students during the winter time, good food, good transportation but the culture you must be prepare for, because is quite different at least from my point of view, because I am from Spain I am more mediterranean.. I would recommend it for a year, two years top, unless you find a couple here which is very easy for guys.

What is the student lifestyle like in Brno?

Didn't study here, but for what I can see, it is full of student life around. Bars, discos, trips everywhere around with a cheap transportation...totally worth it.

How much does it cost to live in Brno?

If you dont mind to share apartments it will be from 3.5K to 7k, depending how many people. Food is cheap for eating out but clothes are really expensive, sometime even more than in my home country.

If you come at the beginning of the scholar year is not, after that it becomes a nightmare because you have to count with students but also the growing number of IT companies hiring thousands of people in the last 5 years.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The meat is great, the fish is almost inexistent and my favourite dish is one of the most famous in here called Zebra, which is basically pork ribs with different seasoned sauces.

Spilberk Castle, Cathedral and the city center. Out of that, there is nothing else to see, it is really small.
