What is it like to live in Bordeaux? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Well, I grew up there, so I might not be objective here. But the city is great, the weather is kind of rainy during the winter but when March comes the sun comes with it! The beach is not so far away, maybe an hour tops, the Pyrenees are great during the winter : I recommend Peyragudes or La Mongie if you ski.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bordeaux?

Bordeaux is a city made for students, as soon as you're downtown there're bars, beautiful things to see, the docks are really fantastic to spend a moment with a book, with friends, or to jog.

How much does it cost to live in Bordeaux?

It's not that expensive, for my studio (17 m²) I paid €360 a month but I was downtown at 10 min from my school and from the train station, 5 min from the tramway and bus, so that's an example. If you're co renting it's way cheaper.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bordeaux? Is there any advice you can give?

If you want accommodation for September you have to begin to search and visit in June or July; you're not alone to look for an apartment! But if you do that you'll find easily. You should try to see the announces in the faculty or on the website Le Bon Coin.

Is it good to eat out in Bordeaux? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Bordeaux is a multicultural city so you can find French food as easily as you can find Argentinian specialties.

Rue St. Rémi is a street with a lot of affordable restaurants and the food is great!

Is the nightlife good in Bordeaux? Where is good to go?

The nightlife is also great, I love to go to La Plage which is a nightclub on the docks behind the train station. But you have to be careful, as in every big cities : don't go home alone.
