20 year old student looking for accommodation for 6 months whilst in Berlin

Hi, my name is Elle, in September im moving from London to Berlin to study at Universitat der Kunst Berlin for my erasmus program. When in Berlin ill be doing a language course and then studying fine art.  I am looking for a room in a shared apartment or a group of people to do house hunting with.  I'm really easy going, clean and social.  The maximum i'd be willing to pay a month is 500 euros.  I'm staying from mid september to mid february.  I'd prefer to stay in places in East Berlin, such as Freidrichshain or Kreuzberg.
