Generally, what is Aristotle University of Thessaloniki like?
It is the biggest university in Greece. All the faculties are together, in the same campus, close to the city center. The city of Thessaloniki is like a university city.
What are the facilities like?
There are many facilities, free meals in the canteen, lunch and dinner and very very cheap gym in the campus, well equiped with activities like dance, tennis, swimming pool, basketball, volleyball etc. A big central library is opened till 2am every day and there are libraries in each faculty.
What are the tutors like?
It depends of the faculty.
Are the lessons easy in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki?
It depends. It is not that hard but not extremely easy. Always for Erasmus students they are more lenient in the exams and the attendance.
Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?
Sport competitions between the faculties in football, basketball, volleyball... parties in the faculties and sometimes trips.
Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?
The quality is good.
