Generally, what is Alexandria University like?

Alexandria University is one of the oldest universities not only in Egypt but also in Africa. Many scientists have graduated from Alexandria University, for example, Ahmed zewail who won the nobel prize in chemistry in 1999.

What are the facilities like?

The best faculties are engineering, medicine and science.
There are some facilities in Alexandria University such as labs and libraries, but most of labs are somehow old. On the other hand, students try to keep up with progress by going to factories and have good training there.
In each faculty there are some restaurants.

What are the tutors like?

Most of them are good.

Are the lessons easy in Alexandria University?

It depends on which faculty you are. For example, the lessons in the faculty of engineering is difficult, but intersting.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

Some sport activities and educational events.
I've never been there.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

Yes. But in the last 3 years it wasn't good due to the unrest in Egypt. Also, it depend on which faculty the student is going to enroll.
