What is it like to live in Athens? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

it's very nice. It combines parties and entertainment with a lot of ancient seeings about the culture and the ancient Greece. It's the biggest city in Greece that you never get bored of it.

What is the student lifestyle like in Athens?

perfect. you have SO many choises of all the types of entertainment that you will never bored. Plus as a student you have many discounts in many things(theater, cinema, trasportation, food)

How much does it cost to live in Athens?

its depends on what lifestyle you wanna have.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Athens? Is there any advice you can give?

its kinda easy. but to find something cheap and good you will need to find very good and many places

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

the food is great and plenty. favs dishes are: paidakia and of course souvlaki

What places would you recommend visiting in Athens?

acropolis and the museum of acropolis, plaka, suntagma, likavitos, the national music stage,

Is it good to eat out in Athens? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

it's very good. in the center of the city you will find anything. Mcdonalds, souvlaki, arabic pies, mexican everything. and of course MANY of traditional greek dishes.

Is the nightlife good in Athens? Where is good to go?

very good. anytime you will find places full of people. there are plenty of choises in athens that you cant get them all in 1 year. good to go is in the center of the city( suntagma, monasthraki, thiseio, plaka, eksarxeia, gkazi)

What advice would you give future students heading to Athens?

to have the time to go in all the places of the city. everywhere!!
