Athens is the oldest european capital which perfectly combines the past with the present. Living downtown at the city center can be really charming knowing the right places to visit, experiencing it's historical length and also it's modern life.

Although that the living cost in Athens could be quite expensive you can still enjoy the city as there are always the cheaper options.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Greece is home to some of the finest ingredients in the world. Food is really tasty and delicious. Must taste olives and the olive oil, greek salads, tzatziki sauce, feta cheese, mousaka and many more. Not to mention the greek "fast food" Souvlaki!! Don't forget to enjoy your meal with a glass of Ouzo.

What places would you recommend visiting in Athens?

Acropolis hill and Acropolis museum, Plaka streets, Zappeion, Kallimarmaro stadium. Also, anjoy a breathtaking view of the city from Lycabettus hill.
