Living in Athens is really enjoyable but sometimes can be difficult. The interesting thing is that you can do many different things from discovering the ancient architecture to having great parties.

The student life in Athens can have everything especially if you live in the center of Athens.

How much does it cost to live in Athens?

Around 500 eyros included the rent.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Athens? Is there any advice you can give?

No, nowadays due to economic crisis the appartments downtown are cheaper and its easier to find one. If you are a student you should search for an appartment in the city center close to your university otherwise the transportation is tiring and not so convinient.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

We have really nice mediaterranean dishes and you can find cheap restaurants with really good food. You have only to avoid the very touristic restaurants in the city center like Monastiraki.

What places would you recommend visiting in Athens?

Acropolis, Plaka, Thisio, Keramiko

Is it good to eat out in Athens? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes everywhere are good restaurants it depends on the kind of food that you want to try. But if you want to taste the best souvlaki you should go to ''Kostas'' in the square of Saint Eirini near Monastiraki.

Is the nightlife good in Athens? Where is good to go?

Everywhere you can find bars/clubs with the style of music that you like. For examble Gazi, Karitsi, Monastiraki Square, Exarxia, Kolonaki

What advice would you give future students heading to Athens?

They should not be dissapointed when they first come to Athens.They will discover Athen's beauty soon or late.
