Food is simple and healthier than what you expect in Indian subcontinent. Variety is immense but you may find anything at the city center.

If you get agents then they will certainly charge some money but dealing the matter online proved too efficient for me for both respects, time and money.

How much does it cost to live in Ankara?

about 1500 Liras, for a normal life style but that can be brought down if you have the will.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Not at all. The language haunts you once you get in but in a month or two things turn much better as you start learning the language.
