Hi!
My name is Wiola (Wioletta) Kowalczyk, I'm nearly 22 years old and I'm from Warsaw in Poland.
I'm a third-year student of Mediterranean Studies (majors: Spain and Greece) at The Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies "Artes Liberales", the part of University of Warsaw. What's more, I'm realizing additional program - English Philology at Centre for Foreign Language Teacher Training and European Education, where I'm at 1st year.
From time to time, when I have more free time, I work as secretary, touristic guide, hostess or give English, Spanish or Latin private lessons. I can speak also Greek, but I'm no good at this language.
I'm deeply interested in, a-bove all, Al-Andalus, and further: history and culture of Mediterranean area, especially Spain and Greece, languages, comparative grammar and comparative histories of civilizations. About my academic experience and interests you can read on http://uw.academia.edu/WiolettaKowalczyk
Of course, I have also normal hobbies ;) I love music (check my music taste: http://www.lastfm.pl/user/Velmyle) and film. I'm a great fan of fantasy literature and all that 'funny' RPG-nerd-geek culture ;) I'm an admirer of Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" saga. Construction of Westeros as a fictional world is a fascinating masterpiece for me. I've danced bellydance for half a year, but I know some steps for salsa, dancehall, quickstep, chacha, waltz, tango, etc. I like dancing, awesome parties with my friends, and lazy days at the seaside ;)
I'm very friendly entertaining and open-minded person. You can find me on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000681147130&ref=ts#!/wiola.kowalczyk ;)
This year at October I'm going to study at University of Alicante at Intitute of Literature, Institute of History and Institut of Oriental Studies. I've achieved one year scholarship :)
I'm looking forward to meeting you, dear Erasmus Students 2011/20012! First here, next in Alicante! ;)

Hello, my name is Felix Herrera and I think I can offer what you need. I own an apartment that I rent rooms to students.
As I told you rent to students like you (and Spanish Erasmus students), trying to get a studio environment and pleasant living compartáis floor where besides hobbies and experiences.
I for one believe offer a floor that makes this coexistence and whose characteristics are:
It has three rooms-bedroom (one twin bed.) Each of the rooms have a desk and cupboard. All rooms are bright because they are foreign, and of course everything is clean.
The apartment is fully equipped, has an elevator, air conditioning, wireless internet, washing machine, TV, DVD, and everything you need to have a pleasant stay.
It is centrally located near Plaza de Toros and the new Concert Hall, you can walk to all places (including the beach), with university bus stop 50 meters. The area has a range of services and shops.
Well, I can only tell you that if you're interested I can send you pictures of the apartment, but I need your email address.
Ask all your questions.
My phone is 0034-619964921
My e-mail is ferreraca@gmail.com
Regards, thanks for your attention and hope you have luck in your search.

Hi!
We are an Erasmus students association which is in charge of preparing activities, trips and parties for you. Most of us were Erasmus students in the past, so we know what do you need. We have a Facebook account (look for ESN Alicante) and we have also a facebook group where you can contact to the rest of Erasmus students. Then, you can find cheap accommodation (most of the students are leaving in January), make new friends or meet people who are studying the same than you.
If you have any doubt, feel free to contact with us by Facebook or sending a private message.
We hope you have an amazing stay here in Alicante.
See you soon!!! ^_^
