My home'town

Well, what can I say about the city... The best thing is the weather. It's the same all around this area (hardly ever rains). In relation to places to go out, these are the most famous in Alicante: - - El barrio (old quarter): the typical place where the people go out. It's cluttered with pubs, and since the port has lost some of its power, it's improving. -The port: this was the area that used to be in fashion because there were many pubs and everything, but since the casino was built, many of the pubs have closed. There are still some places to go out, but less than in the old quarter. -The route: near the central market, these are a series of pubs and so, where there is rock music, but everyday more you can listen to alternative music and so. This was with regard to Alicante, but there are more places in the province. For example: Benidorm, where you can find the Area Disco (this is composed of 3 discos: KM Pachá and Penelope, very famous). Moreover, if you want to go out, in the city there are pubs on the beach and 15m walking you can also find the “zona guiri”, the english pubs, the most famous one is the Hippodrome. The environment in Benidorm is pretty good (I don't know anything about the discos, just the pubs) and the people want to pillage, so it's good to go over hahaha! (There are many people from Madrid and the majority are foreigners). There are also some places in Elche (that is similar to Alicante) and there are more discos in Torrevieja and other places. Talking about partying, maybe the transport is not really good (many roadworks because of the “tube”), but the rest is great. It's recommendable to be around here in Carnival, and especially in “Hogueras”, when the city is transformed. It's the official party here. Everything is filled with thatched farmhouses and monuments. It's worth it!
